MJ3 Characteristics & Options

Daco's modular, force operated, miniature joysticks are two axis devices that use strain gauges to convert applied force into an infinite resolution analogue output, proportional to input voltage and the force applied. The small size of the MJ3 joystick (typically 1" [25mm]) lends itself to a variety of mounting arrangements including fitting in control grips such as Daco's MG1.

MJ3 force operated miniature joysticks have the following characteristics:

  • Force operated
  • Small size
  • Continuous resolution
  • Over 400 configurations possible
  • No moving parts
  • High reliability
  • Sealed to IP67
  • Low return-to-zero hysteresis
  • Low weight
  • Rugged. 10 times overload capability without damage.
  • 2 year warranty
  • Manufactured using an ISO9000 approved quality system.
  • Anodised to give good corrosion resistance.
